Biochem/physiol Actions

溶菌酶水解肽聚糖中 N-乙酰胞壁酸和 N-乙?；?D-葡糖胺殘基間的 β（1→4） 鍵以及殼糊精中 N-乙酰基-D-葡糖胺殘基間的 β（1→4）鍵。革蘭氏陽(yáng)性細(xì)胞對(duì)該水解作用非常敏感，因?yàn)樗鼈兊募?xì)胞壁含有較高比例的肽聚糖。由于存在外膜以及比例較低的肽聚糖，革蘭氏陰性細(xì)菌對(duì)該水解作用不太敏感。然而，細(xì)菌外膜中如果存在與金屬離子螯合的 EDTA，那么這些細(xì)胞也可能被水解。

該酶在較寬的 pH 范圍（6.0 到 9.0）內(nèi)具有活性。與 pH 為 9.2 時(shí)相比，pH 為 6.2 時(shí)可在更廣的離子強(qiáng)度（0.02 到 0.100M）范圍內(nèi)觀察到zui大活性。
